    Notes:

    Flora Ann Blaydes, 95, of Flora, IL died at 8:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2011 at Paris Healthcare in Paris, IL.

    She was born August 25, 1915 in Jamestown, IN to Thomas & Nola (Hedge) Mitchell. She married Ray E. Blaydes on September 14, 1931 in Danville, IL. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1984.

    She was a homemaker and worked for over 17 years at JC Penney in Flora. Her memberships included First United Methodist Church of Flora and Eastern Star. Ann's hobby was taking care of her family. She was a great seamstress, loved flowers and music being an exceptional musician herself, and was known for her apple tea ring.

    She is survived by her son: Bud Blaydes; daughter: Diane Prince; five grandchildren: Lisa, Ron, Debbie, Will and Robert Eric; four great-grandchildren: Robert Ethan, Melissa, Alec and Brandi; three great-great-grandchildren: Kenneth, Kaitlyn and Benjamin.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (Robert E. Blaydes), daughter (Jo Ann Wallace), three brothers (Ervin, George & Thomas Mitchell), and two sisters (Leola Ebert & Ramona Otterman).

    Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.

    Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.

    Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church and Alzheimer's Association.
