    Notes:

    Delphus D. Boatman, 73, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away early this morning after a lingering illness. He was a native of Richland County and Olney, and for many years was a cleric in the Olney Post Office, before moving to Wisconsin about 22 years ago. WWI Veteran

    Surviving are his wife, Grace; a daughter, Marian, at home; and a son, Jean, of Wausau, Wisconsin; and two grandchildren.

    Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Edna Boatman of Olney, and Mrs. Ina Scherer, of Seymour, Indiana; and one brother, Thomas Boatman of Claremont.

    Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; a sister, Nora Boatman; and a brother, Ernest Boatman.

    Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon in Eau Claire.
