    Louisville -- Lena M. Hord, 92, of Louisville died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at Harmony Home, Flora.

    The funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday at Neil Funeral Home, Louisville, with burial in Old Union Cemetery, rural Louisville. Visitation will be for one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to Clay County Hospital.

    Mrs. Hord was born June 23, 1910, in Clay County, the daughter of Addison and Annie Ackinson Wilson. She married Martin Thomas Hord on February 26, 1930. He died January 4, 2003.

    She was a house parent for Cunningham Children's Home, Urbana, and a member of Hord Congregational Christian Church, Hord.

    Surviving are her son, Kenneth (wife, Patsy Ann) Hord of Louisville; daughter, Dolores (husband, Floyd) Miller of Effingham; 10 grand children; 17 great-grandchildren; and four, great-great- grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Leland Hord; and three sisters, Lura Lewis, Helen, Payne, and Rovilla Snyder.

    Helen Corrine PAYNE, 82, of Louisville, died at 7:48 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2001, at the Clay County Hospital, Flora.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001, at the Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery, Louisville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

    Mrs. PAYNE was born on May 11, 1918, in Clay County, the daughter of Addison and Annie (ACKISON) WILSON. She married Floyd PAYNE, on November 3, 1935. She was retired from the Flora Shoe Factory and was a member of the Hord Congregational Christian Church.

    Survivors include her husband, Floyd PAYNE, of Louisville; and one sister, Lena HORD, of Louisville.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Lura LEWIS and Rovilla SNYDER.
