  Chetsney Wilkin, age 85, well known retired farmer, passed away at his home in Zif township, Wayne county, early Sunday morning. He had spent almost his entire life in Wayne county. He is survived by his wife, Emma; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Atteberry of Enterprise, and Mrs. Lorene Fout of Mt. Erie; two sons, David Wilkin of Jefferson, IN, and Virgil Wilkin of Wayne county. There are also 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren surviving. The funeral party left the Schaub Funeral Home on Tuesday for the Shiloh Methodist church, where services were held with Rev. H. G. Coventry officiating. Interment was in the Wells cemetery. Published in the Olney Advocate, Thuraday, June 30, 1949.
