Departed the Continental U.S. on November 29, 1946 bound for The Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations. Assigned to Battery B, 31st Field Artillery Battalion, 7th Infantry 'California' Division stationed in Korea as part of the army of occupation. Earned the WWII Victory Medal and The Army of Occupation (Japan) Medal. Honorably discharged as a Private First Class on June 2, 1947 at Camp Stoneman, California.
