  Brandy Michelle Cook, 36, of Flora, IL died at 8:29 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at her home in Flora. She was born May 18, 1974 in Olney, IL to Christopher K. Turner and Sheila Sue (Fatheree) Turner. She married Richard Cook in Flora. She was a bartender at Flora American Legion and was of the Christian faith. Brandy enjoyed NASCAR races, camping, gardening, and cooking. She is survived by her ex-husband: Richard Cook of Flora; parents: Chris (Sandy) Turner of O'Fallon, IL and Sheila (Vernon) Pittman of Rinard; grandmothers: Lorene Fatheree of Xenia and Marjorie Pittman of Rinard; daughter: Haley Cook of Flora; brother: Matthew (Lauren) Turner of Olney; sister: Shannon Hays of Rinard; step-brothers: Jarid & Travis Lichtenfels of Salem; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents (Vic & Lorena Turner) and maternal grandfathers (Jerome Fatheree & Wayne Pittman). Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday (April 23, 2011) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Memorials may be made to Haley's college fund.
