Born Jan. 22, 1912, in Franklin County, she was a daughter of Clarence HAMMONDS and Sybble ROBERSON. She married Virgil ROBBINS Oct. 13, 1928, in Franklin County; he preceded her in death. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Brayfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan WILLIAMS officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service. She was a member of Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a Christian. Survivors include son Robert Dean ROBBINS and wife June of Mulkeytown; a brother, Jess HAMMONDS of Sesser; sisters, Eunice BROWN and Mary PIACENTINI of Sesser and Grace KIRK of Galien, Mich.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including Glenda Kay SWALLS of Herrin.
