    • Pitt L. Reed, 77, retired restaurant owner, died Tuesday after an illness at Madison hospital. He was a resident of Georgetown and a member of Main Street Methodist church. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Monie Reed; three sons, Carl in New Albany, Wilbur in Bode, Ia., and William in Brooklyn, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Isaac Ord, New Albany; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Vincent Grantz, Georgetown. Funeral will be Friday at the Mullineaux funeral home, with burial in [Graceland cemetery]. - New Albany Tribune 25 Apr 1951
