  Waterhouse Crackel was born in West Butterwick, Lincolnshire, England, June 3, 1833 and passed away October 5, 1914 aged 81 years, 4 months, & two days old. He came to Albion, IL about 1853 and two years later moved to Clay City, IL. He was married to Elizabeth Wise June 1, 1865. Twelve children were born. His wife and ten children survive.
