  Text	My grandfather Albert F. Miller's wife's name was Dora Isabelle Kearney. buried Smith Cemetery His parents names are John H. Miller and Rachel (Flory or Floy?). buried Smith Cemetery. Dora's parents are James Kearney and Delila Alice (Hardy, Standfield, Morefield) according to Barb's research. I didn't know her so don't know why all the surnames. Some of the Kearney family is buried in the cemetery between Clay City and Flora. Do you know if Elsie Tolliver is related to some of the Tollivers in the Sailor Springs, Louisville area? We had a pastor at the Baptist Church in Sailor Springs whose name was Robert Dale Tolliver. -----Original Message----- From: "Carl W. I went to elementary and high school in Clay City, graduated from high school in 1965. I don't have any pictures of LaVera Bricker except how I remember her in my mind. She was the youngest daughter of my step-father Ralph Orville Bricker. She married Jack Hipes and they lived in Festus, Missouri. I don't know much about Jack except that one of his hands was crippled due to an accident with a shotgun. I lost contact with that side of the family when I was drafted into the army. I'm not sure about the marriage but I think their children were eventually raised by LaVera's older sister, Dorine. But that may have been after she died. I think she died of throat cancer, but I could be wrong. I think they had 4 children, 2 girls & 2 boys. I met one of the girls at my mother's funeral and she looks just like I remember Levera. I think she lives somewhere around Gibson, Illinois. I have several relatives buried there on the Maglone and Miller sides of my family. My first time there was when we buried my dad, Arthur Kenneth Maglone when I was 9 yrs old. His brothers, Robert, William Lloyd, Marvin are all buried there as well as the wives, Helen Straley Maglone , Bertha Mae Straley Maglone , Mary Miller.Maglone. My dad's parents William Thomas and Bertha Welch Maglone. And my mother's parents, Dora Belle Kearnney Miller and Albert F. Miller. Also my dad's sister, Loretta is buried next to him. My mother's sister, Velda and her husband John Tolliver's ashes are buried by my Miller grandparents graves. My grandfather Albert Miller's parents are buried there as well as my mom's brother, Raymond, his wife Pauline and a baby daughter. My grandmother Dora Miller's sister Mina and her husband Charles Miller and two baby daughters. I have two baby sisters buried there that died at birth. That is a lot of relatives buried there. I remarked one year that when I tried to go back home to Sailor Springs I had to visit my relatives at the Smith Cemetery and the Dillman Cemetery. Not many are left living there. I think all that is left living is distant cousins there. It is so ironic that we attended Clay City High School but never met. You were 10 years behind me in school. You were probably attending the Clay City grade school when I was there. I actually moved to Richmond, IN my junior year of High School and graduated there. But I was in school with LaVera Bricker and have her picture in my year book. Thanks for all the work you do on genealogy.
