Text	Margaret McDowell, 88 Margaret McDowell, 88, of Olney, formerly of Noble and Clay City, died at 7:16 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Brother John Spears officiating. Burial will be in Hanna Cemetery in rural Noble. Mrs. McDowell was born on March 8, 1915, in Richland County, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Nash) Patterson. She married Clifford McDowell in 1931. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a homemaker. Mrs. McDowell is survived by a son, George McDowell, of Noble; two daughters, Ruthann Hazel, of Mt. Erie, and Christine Guyer, of Minooka; a brother, John Patterson, of Olney; two sisters, Elise Taylor, of Olney, and Dorothy Finnigan, of Clay City; and 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Orville and Burt, and three sons, Galen, Merial and Paul Eugene.
